Vegan Mozzarella Cheese Recipe That Melts…Really Melts!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup raw cashews
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 Tablespoons + 2 teaspoons tapioca starch
  • 1 tablespoon nutrional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Apple Cider Vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Garlic Powder

Directions:

  1. First off, add the raw cashews to a pot and with water. Bring the water to a boil for 10 to 15 minutes. This will soften them and make the blending process a whole lot easier.
  2. Next, drain and rinse the cashews before adding them along with the 1 cup of water and all the remaining ingredients to a blender. Blend until completely smooth.
  3. Now pour into a sauce pan over medium-high heat, and constantly stir as it cooks. After about 5 minutes it will become cheesy and gooey.
  4. Keep on cooking and stirring for an additional minute to make sure it has firmed up completely.
  5. Serve hot.
  6. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
